PACKING LIST
The below hiking items are required for your safety on the mountain during the hikes. You will say goodbye to your suitcase at the beginning of the hike and will receive it back at the end of the backpacking portion of the tour. The list includes only the necessary items to keep the weight to a minimum. This tour is much more fun if hikers aren’t struggling under an unnecessarily heavy pack!
Required for Hiking
45 – 50 liter backpack.

Comfortable hiking boots or shoes
Trekking poles
Sleeping pad
Lightweight sleeping bag, such as the Sea to Summit Traveler
Fleece jacket or hoodie
Lightweight hiking sandals
Dry sacks for clothing
Clothing
1 Thermal shirt or long sleeve hiking hoodie
2 Pairs of underwear/bras
2 T-shirts (or 1 short sleeve and 1 long sleeve T-shirt)
2 pairs of pants (we suggest 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of leggings)
2-3 pairs of socks
Waterproof jacket and pants
Headlamp
First aid kit
Small personal water filter, such as Sawyer
2 water bottles
Toiletries
Small Ziplock bag for trash (LNT)
Insect repellant
Sunscreen
Electronics (charging cables and adapter)
Tent
Snacks
Optional
Buff or hiking scarf
Backpacking pillow
Sun hat
Poop shovel
